Finding your way around the board dashboard

The board dashboard is the working side of AI HOA. The sidebar on the left lists every tool; on a phone the same list opens from the menu button in the top bar. Some entries expand into a small group of pages.

The sidebar, top to bottom

• Dashboard — the overview page with your community's key numbers.
• Members — the member directory for admins, board positions, Invite, and Bulk Import for adding many households from a spreadsheet.
• Properties — a placeholder today; the property roster page is on the roadmap.
• Rentals — rental tracking and leasing permits.
• Financials — Assessments (dues records), Aging (who is overdue), Late fees (your policy), plus Invoices, Payments, and Budget pages that fill in when the payments launch arrives.
• Violations — report, track, and resolve covenant violations.
• Architectural — the review queue for exterior change requests.
• Documents — the community document library, CC&Rs, and templates.
• Meetings — schedule meetings, run agendas, record minutes, and track Action items.
• Calendar — everything dated, in one place.
• Amenities — manage amenities, reservations, and access keys.
• Directory — the member-facing neighbor directory.
• Announcements — write and publish community announcements.
• FAQs — maintain the questions-and-answers residents see in the portal.
• AI Workforce — your AI staff: Research Assistant, Board Secretary, Treasurer's Assistant, ACC Reviewer, Delinquency Manager, Budget Drafter, and the Supervision Inbox where their drafts wait for your approval.
• Settings — community configuration (admins and board members).

The top bar

The top bar holds the notification bell, a theme toggle (light/dark), your user menu, and — if you belong to more than one community — a community switcher. There is also a command palette for fast keyboard navigation: press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on a Mac) and start typing a page name.

What you see depends on your role

Committee members see a shorter sidebar than board members; community admins see everything. If a page you expect is missing, your role is probably the reason — the Inviting members and roles article explains who can do what.
